In partnership with
The Avalanche awareness course:
This ski course starts with an evening pre course meeting. An informal discussion and presentation introducing some key avalanche safety concepts. The first day starts with a avalanche safety briefing, from one of our fully trained ski instructors or guides. During the two day course lots of time will be spent looking at the many aspects of avalanche safety, and how our observations link to the decision making process. On finishing the course you will be issued with a certificate of achievement.
Taking you through each day of the course from pre trip planning to evening de-brief, will allow you to experience and practice a step by step process to gathering info and linking it to what you see out on the hill.
