We actually have a really small amount of BASI qualified ski instructors in Chamonix. In fact with a grand total of only around 10, that’s not to mention the couple of Brits who went through the French system. It’s a relatively small community compared with resorts like Courchevel and Val D’sere.
Ski instructors come to Chamonix for many reasons. One reason I’m sure is our amazing terrain, it’s so varied and challenging and has of course a back drop like no other resort. We have a epic range of terrain for all levels and enjoy teaching from first timers up to the most seasoned powder hound on slopes that are perfect for the task.
Chamonix is a great place to teach, fun terrain for developing skills from first timer to aspiring instructors and guides.
Why pick a Brit?
If your going to hire a ski instructor from time to time then you should consider hiring a British qualified one. Not only will you get a consistency of language but also a consistency in the concepts, skills and techniques delivered. This of course ensure’s you’ll haveĀ an on going and evolving journey to better skiing.
Our delivery is about meeting your needs not just running through a progression, this isn’t a ski factory this is effective ski instruction and coaching.
Hi Chris,
Garth and Bindy over from New Zealand. You were recommended by Jeremy Murray-Orr. We are staying in Argentiere and when the weather clears want to ski Le Valley Blanche and other options from here.
Cheers
